It may not be the most realistic, nor the most graphic but hell I'll tell ya flat out that this is the best game out there.Perhaps you've played BF2 and say how good the graphics and gameplay are to BF42 and you've never played BF42?Well You gotta play the damn game...first of all the game is the winner of the Best game of year (2002) award and second, It's easy to mod and third, it has the best gameplay EVER DAMNIT EVER.Desert Combat was the Best Mod Of the year (2003 and 2004) and was the biggest sucess in modding history.And also if it weren't for Desert Combat, then Bf2 woulda never existed...Desert Combat is like an extra good BF2 with more and better vehicles,maps and gameplay.Also if you got a crappy PC, then it won't lag at all.But the real winner is Desert Combat Final (C)2004 as the so called "final release" before EA bought the mod company(the name is Trauma Studios by Bericor(I think)Who is from Germany...Then after that, right before BF2 was released EA decided to close Trauma down because they didn't need it anymore (C)May of 2005.After that people gathered up and created DCX or Desert Combat Extended which is a kickass addon mod, which wasn't for DCF But for DC,in 2006, The team was formed and owned and founded by Zeuser, youtube account is ZeuserX which is still active, and in late 2006, His team and a Modding group dedicated to DC called WMM created a collab called Desert Combat Final Extended or DCFX, which was a huge sucess, which eventually died off sadly and it has a couple servers but Idk where and why they they dissapeared about a month ago...and in early 2007, a weird mod called Mr.Magoo by Mr.Magoo was created which died right away after the first release,it was a silly mod based on Ah helicopters mostly,plus animals,weird vehicles and silly maps.And in late August of 2008, a mod called Airwolf(kinda like magoo), was born making a huge sucess and many race cars, new tanks, and helicopters and even a new walking/running animation.NOTE:this mod is a german mod and was produced by BamBam.This mod is working its way to the 4th release V4.0 right now...You can get it from any country as it works well with any language.Well this was mostly about the Mod DC but Bf 1942 is just alot more explaining...also there is 2 other EA made expansion mods called BF1942 The Road to Rome and BF1942 The Secret Weapons of WWII.I'll write about 'em later in a few months.
